Vintage travel poster for the popular Val d’Isère ski resort. Includes an illustration of the looming face of the mountain, a small resort in the distance, skiers moving down the slope and blue and red cable cars–creating an abstracted French flag against the snowy white background. Originally produced for the French tourist board in 1958, this poster is a striking snapshot of 1950s alpine charm and French travel promotion at its finest.
