Donald Brun produced his famous series of posters for Switzerland as global travel became more popular. Davos is depicted as a marvellous and brightly-coloured resort full of beauteous skiers, pony sleds, and ice skaters. Cable cars travel up to the tip of a bright red ski, and a bold skier launches himself into the wide blue yonder.
