Little is known about the artist Naish, though the fact that Halliwell collected this painting suggests that he thought highly of his student. This untitled abstract composition features a dynamic interplay of bold, overlapping shapes in red, blue, yellow, green, and purple. Arcing lines and curved forms suggest musical or architectural motifs, creating a harmonious balance between colour and movement on a neutral background and leaving a strong lasting impression.

Condition: Generally very good, some faint spotting to the background.
