King Edward heartily bids you welcome to his Coronation Dinner (1902)

An original ticket for admission to King Edward VII’s Coronation dinner on the 5th July, 1902. The design features a brightly-coloured angel placing crowns onto the heads of the newly-coronated Edward VII and his Queen Alexandra. The coronation had been scheduled for 26th June; both it and its related celebrations were postponed owing to the King-to-be’s illness, and the coronation itself took place on 9th August.
Condition: generally very good; few handling marks to margins.
