Manning Fine Art are established art dealers specialising in British Art. Specifically Modern British Art – both originals and prints, Original Vintage Posters, Architectural Drawings, and artworks of Oxford and Cambridge from the 17th Century onwards – this latter collection spanning all our other collections.
James Manning was an undergraduate at St. John’s College, Cambridge and latterly studied at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. Inspired by his collegiate architectural surroundings James bought his first artwork; a 17th century Loggan engraving of Caius College, Cambridge. Now based in a Victorian Gothic house in London James’s interest in architectural drawings now includes Victorian and 20th century architecture. His eye for striking compositions has directed his passion to important vintage posters and modern British art.
As online art dealers, Manning Fine Art are able to feature a wide range of stock. With a base in London, works may be viewed by appointment in London SE1 or at London art fairs. Our next event will hopefully be in 2021. We have previously exhibited at:
- Connect – The Independent Art Fair
- The Art and Antiques Fair Olympia
- Midcentury Show
- Works on Paper Fair
- Winter Art and Antiques Fair Olympia
- Cambridge Art Fair
- The 20/21 International Art Fair
We are delighted to stay in touch with fair visitors. If there was something you liked at the fairs but cannot see on our website, please ask us.
Claire and James maintain close contact with the art world, meaning they can source special works of art for their clients.
