Nazi war aims (map)
Published c. 1939, this map purports to show a Nazi map circulated in 1937 for their domination of Europe. Designed to encourage the British public to be wary of German aims. In the event the Germans beat their expectations for Belgium, Holland and Northern France by 1941 by a year. Their aim to conquer Denmark by 1941 and the balance of Scandinavia by 1948 was achieved by 10 June 1940 when the Norwegian army surrendered. Sweden remained neutral throughout the war.
